    Meet John

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who specializes in treating substance use, gambling and gaming use, personality disorders, family issues, trauma, anxiety, and depression. I began working in the clinical field in 2016 at a world-renowned behavioral and addiction treatment facility specializing in the treatment of individuals and families struggling with addiction and co-occurring disorders. As a therapist there, I ran, and continue to run as a contractor, the Gambling and Gaming specialty program and helped patients recover from their addiction to substances in conjunction with non-substance related compulsive behaviors.

My goal as a psychotherapist is to collaborate with my clients to create a safe space for the therapeutic process to occur. By fostering a strong, safe relationship that respects my client’s strengths, values, and goals, I believe that great change is possible. In providing therapy, I integrate aspects of different treatment approaches based on the client’s needs, situations, and desires. This may include Psychodynamic Therapy, Psychoeducation, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and/or Family Systems Approaches in which family members may be invited to join us for one or several sessions.

I am looking forward to being part of your journey to a healthier sense of self, improved relationships, and better quality of life.
